Cancellation & privacy Policy

CLINIC APPOINTMENTS | LIVE ON-LINE CLINIC APPOINTMENTS

Full fee of the cost of your clinic appointment may be applied if your appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hour notice. I will aim to accommodate the full scheduled clinic appointment in the event of a late arrival. If you are ill, contact me as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment.

LIVE ON-LINE CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

No refunds once an on-line workshop or class begins. If you are enrolled and paid for an on-line workshop or class and miss it you will have access to the recording for 3 or more days, dependent on the type of workshop or class.

Live on-line classes or workshops are held over the Zoom platform. Recordings of workshops and classes are occasionally made available to the public for viewing only, but not made available for download, except by Heart Lotus Health. By participating in a class or workshop, you assume your name and/or video, and voice may appear and be heard in recordings. You acknowledge that on-line workshops and classes are recorded and consent to having your video image or voice recorded. Class recordings are made available for a limited viewing time after each live session. By attending workshops and/or classes live on-line you have the choice of having your video and speaker off or on.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS FOR RETREATS

100% refund 8-14 or less before a retreat begins.

50% refund within 3-7 days before a retreat begins.

No refund 2 days before a retreat begins.

Your refund can be transferred to another guest if you wish.

I understand and fully accept risk of personal injury, and other risks and/or losses, foreseeable and non-foreseeable, directly or indirectly through my involvement in workshops, classes, on-line or in person, and participating in weekend retreats, events, or gatherings.

PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Heart Lotus Health does not rent, sell or exchange your name or other personally-identifiable information to third-party companies for any purposes. Under no circumstances will your personal information be disclosed to any third party unless we seek your express consent or are required to do so by law.

When you book an appointment or sign up for any other Heart Lotus Health service you will be asked for your email address as we send out confirmation, reminder and clinic information emails with our bookings.

Once you voluntarily give us your email address we will only use it to communicate your bookings, cancellations, changes, and periodic short and informative newsletters containing changes in operating hours and announcements about events or promotions being offered. Each email will contain simple instructions on how to unsubscribe from the email list.

Paper files containing personal information are destroyed by shredding. Electronic information is destroyed by deleting them, and when the hardware is discarded, we ensure that the hard drive is physically destroyed.

When you make a purchase through heartlotushealth.com we ask for your name, address, phone number, email address and other personal information necessary to fulfill and track your order. For purposes of billing, you will need to provide your credit card type, number, expiration date and billing address for the card.

Clients' files are kept for ten years according to The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario regulations.
