Patient Guidelines
Clinic Procedures
As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) my practice is open and I am accepting in person appointments. During the Covid-19 pandemic RMTs follow guidelines as provided by the profession’s governing body CMTO. As of June 13, 2022, mandatory masking has ended, with the exception of long-term care and retirement homes.
In light of Covid, I am pleased to be able to offer some of my services via on-line appointments.

Spread and Prevention
Covid-19 is a type of coronavirus. There are many different kinds of coronaviruses and some cause disease. This type is called SARS-CoV-2 and is a respiratory illness that caused a worldwide pandemic that began in December 2019. In some cases, Covid-19 can lead to severe respiratory problems, kidney failure or death. Symptoms are similar to that of a flu or a bad cold, therefore only a lab test can confirm if it is Covid-19.
Spread:
The virus is spread through droplets or fine vapour released into the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
Droplets generally do not travel more than a few feet, and they fall to the ground or onto surfaces in a few seconds.
Symptoms can appear within 14 days of exposure to the virus.
Prevention:
Frequent hand washing
Staying home when you are sick
Covid Vaccine
Coughing into the bend of your elbow
Wear a face mask in public settings. Further mask guidance differs depending on whether you are fully vaccinated or unvaccinated.
Practice social distancing; stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) from other people when outside of your home.
